Blizzard Classic Cup 2026 (HotS Legacy)

About

The Blizzard Classic Cup 2026 HotS slot was a legacy exhibition at BlizzCon (Anaheim, 12–13 September 2026): a staged rematch framing of the 2018 HGC Grand Final, nested inside Tasteless vs Artosis’s cross-title Classic Cup points race.

HotS counted as Legacy only (3 Classic Cup points) — not a full HotS bracket.

Result

Dignitas (Team Tasteless) 3–0 Gen.G (Team Artosis)

Map	Battleground	Winner
1	Haunted Mines	Dignitas
2	Infernal Shrines	Dignitas
3	Sky Temple	Dignitas

Revenge for 2018, when Gen.G swept Dig at that BlizzCon HGC final.

Lineups (announced)

• Dig: Bakery, Jaeben, JayPL, Wubby, POILK
• Gen.G: Kyocha, merryday, Sign, Dami, Frankle

Casters on the English broadcast side included Bahamut, Dreadnaught, and Gillyweed. VOD reference used on this desk: FanHOTS English cast.

Why it matters

S-tier prestige, one-off spectacle. Proof HotS can still own a BlizzCon stage — while day-to-day competition remains community-run.
